Pineau & Cognac Tasting
In the region around
Château de Clérac
you'll find field upon field of
vines. Because of the Appelation
system in France and the geographical
location of the Chateau, these
grapes will usually be used to
make Cognac or Pineau (grape juice
mixed with Cognac - tastes similar
to a port or desert wine), or
just table wine (there are no
wine appelations in this region).
These producers don't mind at
all if you drop by to sample their
Pineaus and Cognacs.
